Elmer Scott Henry
A former resident of Altoona and Juniata and a retired moulder, died at 5 o'clock last evening at the home of a son, Roy Henry, at Ashtabula, O. He was ill a brief time, suffering a fall recently. Mr. Henry was born on August 13, 1876 at the Foot-of-Ten, a son of William and Catherine Henry. He was married to Elizabeth Henry in the First Church of God, Altoona by Rev. Rice in 1893. Surviving are eight children as follows: Roy and Paul Henry, both of Ashtabula, O., Charles Henry of Harrisburg, Amos Henry of Bellwood and Mrs. Ada Alloway, Mrs. Pearl Trostle, Mrs Sara Borst and Mrs. Ruth Emes, all of Altoona. Also surviving are eleven granchildren and three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Champeno of Hollidaysburg. Friend will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock Friday evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mauk & Yates funeral home, Juniata.
