Ralph served as Addison Township Treasurer, a director of the hospital and as a deputy sheriff. He was a life member of the Addison Masonic Lodge. He was married to Helen Lucretia Anderson April 22, 1912 at Devils Lake, Lenawee County, MI. His parents were John Wallace Cherry and Hattie Lucretia Clemens. He was survived by his wife; two sons, Robert and Willis of Addison; two daughters, Mrs. A. C. (Frances) Hotchkins of Guilford, Conn., and Mrs. Gerald (Alice) Mettert of Hillsdale; a brother, Frank of Baltimore, Md; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
