Leslie Melvin Brooks, 84, died Monday, February 14, 2005 at a Weatherford nursing home.
Leslie Melvin Brooks was born November 17, 1920 in the Park Springs community of Wise County. He moved to Stephenville as a child and attended school in Morgan Mill. Mr. Brooks entered the United States Army after graduation, serving twelve years overseas in the Pacific and Korea. He had lived in the Zion Hill community of Parker County for the last forty years and was a member and deacon of the Zion Hill Baptist Church.
