Clark Coles was born in Warren County, Iowa, on November 2, 1957 and died at his home in Osborne County, September 20, 1912, age 54 years, 9 months and 18 days. Mr. Coles was united in marriage on July 4, 1880 to Miss Martha Cook and to this union were born four children. They lived in Mitchell County until March 1, 1899 when they noved to Osborne County where they have since resided.
Mr. Coles leaves a wife, one son, three daughters, seven grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at the house Monday and the services were conducted by Rev. A. C. Daggett and the remains were laid to rest in the Grand Center Cemetery.
