Age 86 years of Fennville, Michigan. Formerly of Lockport. December 15, 1969 at Douglas Community Hospital, Douglas, Michigan. Preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Anna Koerner, his first wife, Mary; 4 sisters, Mary Murphy, Emma Murphy, Barbara Clark, and Mrs. L. B. Anderson. Survived by his wife, Alice nee Schafer of Michigan; 8 sons, Jacob, Lawrence, Elmer, Harry, and Richard of Joliet, Donald, of Scottsdale, Arizona, R. Kenneth, of Tinley Park, Eldon of Fennville, Michigan; 8 daughters, Mrs. Russell (Helen) Homan, Milford, Indiana, Anna and Clara Koerner, Joliet, Mrs. G. Wesley (Elizabeth) Bode, Plainfield, Mrs. Frank (Marion) Paul, Mrs. Stephen (Dorothy) Ostafin of Lockport. Mrs. Fred (Alice) Farage, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. George Lotschaw, Pullman, Michigan; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Miene and Mrs. Harold (June) Crowner, Fennville, Mich.; 1 sister, Mrs. Olaf (Elizabeth) Dysterud, St. Petersburg, Fla., 39grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Removal will be made to the Goodale Funeral Home where services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Moulthrop officiating. Interment Lockport City Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
