Ralph Barre, 85, of Parkersburg, died Monday, July 11, 1994, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Funeral services at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with the Rev. Phil Willison officiating. Burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.
Barre was born Oct. 30, 1908, in Edwards County, the son of William Robert and Hanna (Lomas) Barre. He married Bertha Doney Jan. 24, 1930 in Olney.
He was a carpenter and a member of the Parkersburg United Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife, of Parkersburg; two sons, William Barre, of Pesotum, and Charles Barre, of Monticello; a daughter, Phyllis Harms, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Barre was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
