Hazel Fritchley, 69, Sumner, died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Services will be Wednesday in the Sivert Funeral Home in Sumner. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born June 15, 1913, in Edwards county to William and Hannah (Lomas) Bare. She married Herschel Fritchley who died Aug. 11, 1977. She was retired from the International Shoe Factory in Olney, a member of the United Methodist Church in Sumner and United Methodist Women's Group. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Scaggs, Sumner, Carol Stevens, Lawrenceville and Barbara Caudell, Claremont; two brothers, Leonard Bare, Olney, and Ralph Bare , Parkersburg, two sisters, Iva Bare and Lorena Hicks, both of Olney; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
