Graveside services for Linda Lee Wilson Elrod of Silsbee were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Madisonville City Cemetery under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Madisonville.

Linda was born Feb. 20, 1941, in Anderson, Texas to Edward and Buna Bullard Wilson.

She passed away Friday at her home after a brave battle with cancer.

Mrs. Elrod taught school many years in the Beaumont Independent School System.
