Carole Harding Appleget, 70, of East Ridge, TN passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at her home after a short illness.
She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church, the Kingsbury Sunday School Class and Circle 5. She was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1959. Carole worked for Dixie Yarns and for the Chattanooga Glass Co.
She was preceeded in death by her sister, Barbara Newman; and her parents, O.H. and Callie Harris Harding.
Survivors include her husband, David Appleget; one son, Daniel (Donna) Appleget, of Hixson, TN; step-granddaughter, Julie Hawk of Hixson, TN; two sisters, Rita Epps, of Claremore, OK, and Alice Taylor, of Chesterfield, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Brainerd United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brainerd United Methodist Church building fund.
