Zina Zaugg Feil Together Again Our angel mother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 96.
She enjoyed life and cherished each moment spent with loved ones and friends.
She is now in the arms and care of her loved ones who passed on before her.
Zina was born January 9, 1910 in Stirling, Alberta, Canada to Frederick and Emily Chadwick Zaugg.
She moved from Canada to Oregon where she spent her childhood and graduated from high school.
She spent much of her time on the family farm doing chores and having fun with 11 of her brothers and sisters.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.
She served a mission in the Central Atlantic States Mission.
Zina married Paul Nephi Feil in September 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Most of her married life she spent gardening and raising four sons.
She loved to share the "fruits" of her labors with friends and neighbors.
She loved music and loved to sing.
Zina was a joy to be around and brightened every moment for those around her.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. We will miss her smile and singing.
She is survived by her four sons, Steven (Sue), Wayne (Kathy), Kevin (Kathy), and Sheldon (Cindy); 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grand children.
She is also survived by her brother Wilford (Elva) Zaugg and sister Roxie Youngberg.
Zina was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, and 10 siblings.
Funeral services for Zina will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Rosecrest 2nd Ward, 3101 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City.
Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City and at the Rosecrest 2nd Ward on Saturday morning from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the services.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
