Amy Louise Bell, 98, Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, formerly of Pleasantville,died February 6, 1997, in the home. Born in Pleasantville, she was a daughter of the late R. Allan and Harriett (Crouse) Rafuse. She was a life-long resident of Pleasantville. She graduated of Provincial Normal College, Truro, in 1922, and taught in several schools in Lunenburg County. Surviving are sisters, Vera (Mrs. Robert Pearson), Chelmsford, Mass.; Kathleen (Mrs. Ted Anderson), Belmont, Mass.. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; brothers, James, Percy, Allan, Harry; sisters, Elsie, Tessa, Geneva, Hazel, two in infancy. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Sunday, funeral 11 a.m. Monday, both in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel ,Bridgewater, Arnold Sarty officiating. Burial in West LaHave Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to any charity.
