Cornelia H. Ayers
Cornelia H. Ayers, 81, of West Long Branch, died May 9, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
She was a medical technologist for 23 years with Rush Laboratories, Red Bank, until retiring in 1972. Prior to that, she worked at the former Monmouth Memorial Hospital, Long Branch.
She was a volunteer during World War II at Monmouth Memorial Hospital; served on the West Long Branch Library Board; Long Branch Women's Club, and the Leisure Club of West Long Branch.
Mrs. Ayers was born in Scobeyville, Colts Neck, and lived in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch 59 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; a son in Eatontown; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Arrangements were by the Flock Funeral Home, Long Branch.
