Elethia (also incorrectly spelled Aletha/Eletha on some documents) was the wife of Rev. James Hutchison (son of John Hutchison & Susan Heinemann). They were married in Lawrence County, Indiana on February 15, 1827 when Elithia was 15 years old. According to the Marriage Index, Elethia was listed as "Leathy" Campbell. James' uncle, Theophilus Hutchison, married 2 weeks earlier (Feb 1, 1827) in Lawrence County, Indiana.
Elethia Pauline Campbell Hucthison died on Dec. 15th, 1843 at the age of 32 years and 9 months - only two months after the death of her last child, Paulina. Elethia's death occurred only 6 months after she gave birth to twins. Baby Paulina's twin brother was named James B Hutchison. James only managed to live a few months past his 8th birthday. Vandals destroyed many headstones in this cemetery. Thankfully, Elethia's monument was not destroyed. (It is engraved as "Eletha"). "Died Dec. 15, 1843". Susan (Heinemann) Hutchison's name is on the other side of the same stone.
