She was a wife, homemaker, and mother to her 3 girls,Athale, Gwen and Ramona, also helping raise her neice Ada and nephew Aubrey in her home when their father had died.
She develped tuberculosis and was taken to a hospital that specalized in care of this disease in San Angelo,Texas.
When treatment wasn't helping she was sent home to remain until her passing on December 26,1939.
