"Ted", lived life fully.Ted was born August 9, 1925 to William Weis and Juanita Richards Glasmann. He had five other siblings. Ted went to Weber State College in Ogden Utah. He married, third wife, Jean Royle May 3, 1955 in San Francisco, CA,to whom he was married for 45 years. He was also married Louise Glasman; to whom he had his daughter Deborah, & to Irene Lowe-Glasmann; mother of Suzan I Glasmann, 1953-1966. He had 3 children with Jean: Brenda, Teri & Mike; & his 4 grand-children: Tiffany, Julia, Hannah, & Chloe. Ted and Jean lived in over 34 states and overseas, including Japan. He retired to Alaska to fish,& play golf. He played with some of the greatest players of the 1960's! Ted played Football, baseball, golf, bowling and was also a boxer! He loved the Horse races, and was a great poker player. He was a card dealer in Las Vegas and was requested by the "Rat Pack". He played Willie Mosconi in 1941 for the World Pool Championship, Willi won. He served in the Coast Guard, the Navy & the Marine Corps. He served in WWII, Korea & Vietnam, While in the Corps, Ted had an very small appearance in the 1955 film "Battle Cry." He also had the Marine Corps mascot "Chesty Puller" (English Bulldog) while stationed at Treasure Island. Chesty received the one and only 21 gun salute at his full military funeral, and is buried on Treasure Island. Ted was the Corps! He owned 2 different bar/clubs in San Francisco,"Danny's" and "The Club Sahara". Over the years he also was a machinist for many newspapers. He loved his dogs, hunting, driving in his Mustang Conv,or boating in one of his many boats over the years and fishing the Kenai River, in Soldotna Alaska at his fish camp named "Ted's Fish Camp" at Poachers Cove.
