Arcadia, LA - Services for Mrs. Alma Hines Collinsworth, 94, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 14, 1999 at the Rose-Neath Arcadia's Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Harlan Smith, assisted by Dr. Richard May and Rev. Jesse Smith. Burial will be in Camp Ground Cemetery, Bienville, LA.
Mrs. Collinsworth died Tuesday, October 12, 1999 at the Arcadia Baptist Retirement Center. She was born in Bienville Parish, LA, was a former resident of Bryceland, LA and had resided in the Arcadia Baptist Retirement Center for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of the Bryceland Baptist Church. Mrs. Collinsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen B. Collinsworth and son, Nathaniel Clark Collinsworth.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. B. J. Collinsworth and wife, Roxie of Ruston, LA, Bill Collinsworth and wife Frances of Bryceland, LA; daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ussery and husband, Dr. Aaron E. of Arcadia, LA; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Sutton, Brad Collinsworth, B. C. Collinsworth, Brian Collinsworth, Fen Collinsworth, Keith Collinsworth and honorary pallbearer, Will Henry Teasley.
Memorials may be made to Bryceland Baptist Church or Arcadia Baptist Retirement Center, Chapel Fund.
