Justine was the fifth of ten children born in Jessup, Pa to Stephen Gross, a coal miner born in Hungary, and his wife Catherine (Hudzik), also from Hungary. Justine was working in Scranton when she met Russell D Miller and they were married July 30, 1940. They lived in Bethesda, Md and on Kensington Ave in Washington, DC during the 1950's and 1960's. Their interests included French provincial and other vintage and antique furnishings. They had no children. Justine died suddenly in 1971 of a cerebral hemorrhage.
