Ann was the daughter of Joseph & Lucinda (Kelso) McCorkle Scott. She married William McMahon abt 1858 and they had 3 children.

After William McMahon's death, Ann married Austin DeLong on Aug 12, 1866 in Holt Co., MO. They had 9 children:

3. Luvenna Victoria DeLong Alexander b. 1871.
4. Joshua Milton DeLong b. 1873.
5. Harvey Lee DeLong b. 1875.

Mrs. Ann Delong was born in Missouri, Sept 10, 1832(sic 1842); died May 19, 1917, at her home east of Barada, aged 84(sic 74) years, 8 months and 9 days. She was the widow of Austin Delong, a veteran of the Civil War; who proceded her in death by about eight years. Since his death her son, Elbert, with his family have lived on the home place and cared for her. She leaves to mourn her loss a large family of sons and daughters who during the last illness came from their scattered places of abode, to spend these days with her. The services were conducted from the house by Rev. Shafer, on Sunday, May 20, at 1:30 P.M., and the remains laid to rest besides her husband in Harris Cemetery.
