OBITUARY
The Rochester Sentinel, Wednesday, May 31, 1961

Final rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Church of the Brethren for Mrs. Mildred C. SNYDER, 76, R.R. 1, Argos, who died of a heart attack at her home at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Snyder was born May 12, 1885, at Bunker Hill, Ind., to Levi and Susan SHIVLEY PUTERBAUGH. She was married Jan. 1, 1909, to George W. SNYDER, who died in 1959. She had lived in the Argos community for 60 years and was a member of the Walnut church of the Brethren.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Hazel) SHOEMAKER, R.R. 2, Argos; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Amzi PUTERBAUGH, Detroit. Two sons and one daughter died in infancy, and two brothers, Clifford and Heber [PUTERBAUGH], preceded her in death.

The Rev. Eldon EVANS will officiate at the services, and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Grossman funeral home in Argos after 8 p.m. today until noon Friday and at the church one hour prior to the services.
