Mrs. Creech was preceded in death by her husband, Smiley Eldon Creech.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Eola and Bob Hovey of Marietta, Ga.; her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Sue Creech of Leesburg, Ga.; one granddaughter, Salina Hovey (Don) Millen of Charlotte, N.C.; three grandsons, Glenn (Lisa) Creech Jr. of Lincolnton, John Creech of Columbus, Ga., and Chad (Jill) Creech of Leesburg, Ga.; five great-grandchildren, McAuley Millen, Glenn Creech III, Chelsea Creech, Jackson Creech and Chad Creech Jr.; one sister, Doris Laureti of Claxton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was Tuesday, August 31, at 11 a.m. at the Claxton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Trent DeLoach, the Rev. John William Powell and the Rev. Wayne DeFore officiating. Burial followed Brewton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Waters, Hub Daniels, Larry Anderson, John Richey, Carl Lee Collins, Lorian Lewis, Hinton DeLoach and Robert Barber.
Honorary pallbearers was George Durrance Sunday School Class and the Emmaus Friends.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
