1870 census and information from his will indicate he had 8 children with Julia Ann Finch Wesner, his wife -- William b abt 1852, Alexander b abt 1853, Henry b abt 1855, Elizabeth b abt 1856, Lena b abt 1857, Deborah b 1859, Anthony J. b abt 1861, and Samuel b abt 1863.

Below is from a profile of their SON-IN-LAW, Asa Ramp (who married their daughter Deborah Wesner), which has biographical information for Anthony Wesner. However, a copy of his will shows a date of October 11, 1876, so it is believed that the date below is incorrect and he instead died in 1876.

ASA RAMP--Retired farmer; Knoxville; born in Knox County, Jan. 24, 1855, educated in the common schools. His parents, Benjamin and Sarah (Mapps) Ramp, were born in Pa; the former, Nov 20, 1815, the latter, in 1819. They died in March 1891.
March 15, 1879, Asa was married to Deborah Wesner in Knox Co.; they had 3 children; Electa M., born Jan 1, 1880, Florence B., born Jan 7, 1885; and Waldo L., born Aug. 10. 1886.
Mrs.Ramp was born in Somerset Co. Pa, March 2, 1859; she was the daughter of Anthony and Julia Ann Wesner; the former born in German, Jan. 16, 1823, and died in Knox Co. Oct 22, 1875; the latter born in Northumberland Co., Pa, Dec 3, 1819, and died in Knox Co. March 4, 1885. Mrs. Ramp's parents were members of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Ramp is a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Mr. Ramp lived in Ford Co., Ill. for five years; the moved to Truro Township, and after nine years residence moved to Knoxville, where they lived or six years. He is member of the M. W. A., No. 41, Knoxville Camp. Mr. Ramp owns about 440 acres of land in Elba and the adjoining township. In politics he is a republican."
