Substantial Citizen of the Community Dies of Complications
SIMON LAMBING, 81, one of the substantial citizens of Idamar, passed away of a complication of diseases at his home in Idamar at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. He was born in Cherryhill township December 4, 1854. His wife, Mrs. Martha E. Lambing, died May 19, 1932, and these children survive: Harry Lambing at home; Alex Lambing of Marian Center, R.D.; Charles Lambing and Mrs. May Jobe, both of Idamar. He also leaves 14 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: William Lambing of Commodore; Andrew Lambing of Dilltown; Mrs. Margaret Grove of Nant-y-Glo; Mrs. Jennie Lydic of Ebensburg and Mrs. Sarah Jobe of Lilly. Funeral services will be conducted in the Dixonville Methodist Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. Saturday and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday in the Dixonville M.E. church, followed by interment in the Dixonville cemetery, for Simon Lambing, aged 81, a long-time and substantial resident of the Dixonville community, who died on Wednesday at his home in Idamar. The deceased, who was born in Cherryhill township, December 4, 1854, is survived by these children; Alex Lambing, of Marion Center, R. D.; Charles Lambing and Mrs. May Jobe, of Idamar, and Harry Lambing, at home. He also leaves 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. His wife died in 1932. He was a brother of William Lambing, of Commodore; Mrs. Margaret Grove, of Nanty Glo; Mrs. Jennie Lydick, of Ebensburg, and Mrs. Sarah Jobe, of Lilly.
