Maria (Aguiar) Carreiro, 81, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at home Thursday, Sept. 2. She was the wife of the late Jose M. Carreiro. Born and raised in Madeira, Azores, Portugal, she was a resident of Stoughton since 1973. Mrs. Carreiro is survived by her caretakers, Maria and Jose Narciso of Stoughton. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-6 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
