Ann Gertrude Adair Burge, 98, of Marshall, formerly of Blackwater, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Memorials may be made to Arrow Rock Cemetery Association.

Born March 29, 1911, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lee Fenwick and Lena Mallman Fenwick. On Oct. 9, 1942, she married Roy Hugh Adair, who preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1985. On Nov. 19, 1989, she married Paul C. Burge, who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1999. She had lived in Saline and Cooper counties her entire life and was a 1929 graduate of Napton High School. She was manager of Montgomery Ward order office in Boonville for many years and was a member of First Christian Church in Marshall.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Ann Berry and husband, "Jan" Raymond, of Arrow Rock; one grandson, James Hugh Berry; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.
