Mrs. Elizabeth M. Orr, 73, of 511 W. Allen St., widow of James R. Orr, a former Springfield attorney, died at 6:40 a. m. yesterday at Memorial hospital, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Orr had resided in Springfield for the last 46 years. She was born Dec. 15, 1875, on a farm north of Buffalo, the daughter of Oliver A. and Martha McDaniels. In 1902 she was married in Buffalo to James R. Orr, who died in 1925. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church and was a member of the First Methodist church in this city. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty Canfield, city; three sons, Jr. Oliver Orr, city; Jack E. Orr, Lincoln; Robert M. Orr, Grosse Pointe, Mich.; three sisters, the Misses Mary, Martha and Frances McDaniel, and one brother, Oliver McDaniel, all of Buffalo, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. tomorrow at the Bisch Memorial home. Rev. A. Ray Grummon will officiate and burial will be in Mechanicsburg cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p. m. today and until time of services tomorrow.
