Abedengo Creekmore, 91, of Bald Knob died December 30, 1998. Born May 6, 1907, in Knoxville, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Andrew Jackson and Rachel Cox Creekmore. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Creekmore; seven sons, Ernest Creekmore of El Dorado, Mansel Creekmore of Fennville, Michigan, Bobby Creekmore of White Cloud, Michigan, Jerry Creekmore and Dean Creekmore of Holland, Michigan and Chester Creekmore and Larry Creekmore of Bald Knob; two daugthers; Darlene Converse of Judsonia and Diane Creekmore of Bald Knob; on sister, Rachel Jones of Orlando; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Creekmore, in 1980.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Powell Chapel with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. Visitation will be from 5-9 tonight.
