Obituary

Wm. Boak was born in Cleveland, Ohio, March 3, 1849, and died in the town of Akan, Richland County, Wisconsin, December 1, 1913, aged sixty-four years, five months and twenty-nine days.

He leaves to mourn his loss six children, Mrs. Ellen Wiley, Henry, Mrs. Eva Daughabaugh, Mrs. Ida Dobbs, George and Frank. His brothers, David and John, of Boscobel, his sisters, Mrs. Lee Cooper, of Muscoda, Mrs. Lee Cooper of Muscoda, Mrs Lonzo Beebe and Mrs. Thos. Frosno, Missouri, besides a large number of other relatives and friends. His wife preceded him to the home beyond nearly three years ago, also two children died in infancy.

The funeral services were conducted in the residence of the deceased, near Tavera, by F. L. Brock, of Boaz. The esteem of the neighbors and friends was manifested in the large attendance at the funeral and in many kindly remarks concerning the deceased as being a good neighbor, citizen, friend and as being kind and loving to his family. He will be greatly missed in the community. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near Tavera
