SOLDIERS GROVE--George Boak, 82, of 175 Talmadge St., formerly of Soldiers Grove, died Sunday (Aug. 30, 1970) in a Madison nursing home after a long illness.

He and his wife, the former Stella Maybee, farmed in the Soldiers Grove area for many years. She died Dec. 6, 1957.

Surviving in Madison are three daughters, Mrs. Pat (Olivette) Dyer, 26 Farwell St.; Mrs. Don (Alice) Hagee, 1342 Williamson St.; and Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Knutson, 21 Dixon St.

Also surviving are a brother, Frank, Blue River; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Martin Funeral Home, Gays Mills.
