Paul R. Wohrle, 67
SHAWNEE - Paul R. Wohrle, 67, of Corning, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Shawnee, to the late Daniel M. and Veronica S. "Bonnie" Gordon Wohrle. He was a sales representative for Lawson Products and a member of Corning Eagles Ares No. 468.
He is survived by his ex-wife of 28 years, Janice Wohrle, who was the mother of his two daughters, Dedra (Allen) Stanley and Dianna (David) Sobers; a special friend and partner of 16 years, Judy Bond; special friends, Kenny Bond, Frank (Tracey) Bond, Robert Wayne Bond Jr., Larry (Amanda) Bond and Raymond (Amy) Bond; four brothers, Danny Wohrle, Don (Margaret) Wohrle, Pat (Sue) Wohrle and William (Linda) Wohrle; two sisters, Mary Joann (Richard) McKinney and Sheri (Bruce) Starner; 14 grandchildren, Ashley, Amber and Amanda Stanley, Jessica and Hunter Sobers, Chelsea, Kayla, Dakota, Jakob, Jamison, Maggie, Nathan and Emma Bond, and Jordon Miller; a great-granddaughter, Brylynn Hook; an uncle, Sylvester (Lottie) Gordon; an aunt, Ellen Gentry; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Wohrle; and infant sister, Veronica Wohrle.
Calling hours will be after 6 p.m. today, April 28, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Corning, where prayer services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the church with Father Jonathan Wilson as celebrant. Internment will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
Following internment, family and friends will be gathering at the Saint Bernard Social Hall for food and fellowship.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, 118 W. Walnut St., Shawnee.
