Veronica S. "Bonnie" Wohrle, 89, of Corning, passed away June 2, 2004 at Berger Hospital, Circleville, Oh. Born January 17, 1915 in Junction City, Oh., the daughter of the late Sylvester and Amelda (Boley) Gordon. Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Corning. Surviving are her children, Danny Wohrle, Paul (Judy) Wohrle, Sherri (Bruce) Starner, all of Corning, Don (Margaret) Wohrle of Grove City, Pat (Sue) Wohrle of Shawnee, Mary Joann (Richard) McKinney of Ashville, William (Linda) Wohrle of Columbus; brother, Sylvester (Lottie) Gordon; sister, Ellen Gentry, all of Junction City; brother-in-law, Charles Fink of Newark; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Daniel M. Wohrle, infant children Michael and Veronica, sisters Marie Kunkler, Rose Sweeney, Florence Clark and Betty Fink. Friends may call anytime after 3 p.m. Friday with the family in attendance 3-5 and after 7 p.m. at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, Shawnee, Oh. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004 at St. Bernards Catholic Church. Interment Shawnee Cemetery . Prayer service will be held 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Pickaway County, 600 North Pickaway St., Circleville, Oh. 43113. Following the funeral service, family and friends will gather for food and fellowship at St. Bernards Social Hall.
