Joanne M. Burbo, 50, went home to the Lord's house on Jan. 3, 2007, following a long illness.
She was born in Burlington, Vt., on July 7, 1956, the daughter of John and Shirley (Lemieux) Fuller.
On Aug. 10, 1996, she married Leonard P. Burbo in Milton, Vt.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard of Stokes; her mother, Shirley of Stokes; her daughter, Katerina E. Fuller and her companion, Stephen of Williston, Vt.; her brother, Steven J. Fuller and his wife, Janice of Burlington, her nephew, Jon Paul Fuller, who has lived with her since he was 11 years old; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in New York and Vermont, and many brothers and sisters-in-law in Vermont.
She was predeceased by her father, John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Cathedral, Burlington, with interment to follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington.
