She was the youngest of nine children born to the late Allen Clark & Annie Hatt Clark. She was the Principal's Administrator at the Taylor Elementary School in Arlington, VA, from 1976 to 1988.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Clark Hartman of Charlotte, NC & Craig Alan Hartman of Ashburn, VA; six grandchildren.
Interment followed funeral services conducted at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel, Arlington, VA, ,February 16, 2010.
