Funeral services for Albert
F. Bernhardt, 5352 North High
School Road, a retired farmer,
will be held at 1 p.m. Satur-
day in Conkle Speedway Fu-
neral Home. Entombment will
be in Lincoln Memory Gardens
Mausoleum
Mr. Bernhardt, 73 years old,
died Wednesday in Methodist
Hospital.
Mr. Bernhardt, a lifelong
resident of Indianapolis once
had a produce stand at the
City Market.
He also had been a self-
employed carpenter, special-
izing in residential building.
He served in the infantry
overseas during World War I,
and was a member of LaVelle-
Gossett Post 908, Veterans of
Foreign Wars.
Survivors include the widow,
Mrs. Elizabeth Bernhardt; a
son, Edward A Bernhardt of
Indianapolis; four daughters,
Mrs. Martha A Wilkerson,
Mrs. Mary E. Lewis and Mrs.
Evelyn S Groff all of Indian-
apolis, and Mrs. Laverne S
Millette of Toledo, O; three
Brothers, Arthur, Harry and
Clarence Bernhardt, all of In-
Dianapolis; a sister, Mrs. John
Lentz of Indianapolis, and 16
Grandchildren.
