EDWARD A. BERNHARDT, 63, Indianapolis, died Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Speedway Church of the Nazarene of which he was a member. Calling will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Flanner & Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary. Mr. Bernhardt had been a farmer 25 years in Marion County, retiring in 1985. Previously, he was a carpenter 10 years for J.O. Held Co. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Survivors: wife, Wilma L Boyer Bernhardt; sons, Michael E., Kenneth A. and Jerry T Bernhardt; daughters, Diane Strong and Debbie A. Bernhardt: stepsons, Eddie, Bill, Frank and Rhymie Davis; sisters, Martha Wilkerson, Mary Lewis, Evelyn Groff and LaVonne Millett: 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
