Mrs Garvin was born Oct. 7, 1918, at Pollard Crossing in Boyd County, a daughter of the late John Huffman and Mae Oma Reffitt Clark.
She was a retired clerk of Super Kwik, Inc., and a member of the Wurtland Church of God.
Surviving are a son, Mack Callihan of Flatwoods; nine daughters, Freda Francis of Melrose, Letha Flanagan of Baltimore, MD., Eddriee Belcher of Padducah, Edna Long, Ginger Callihan, Denine Callihan, and Denixe Cochran, all of Flatwoods, Connie Hamilton of Wurtland and Jeri Brown of Worthington; three sisters, Sarah Glazier and Jeanetta Grizzle, both of Flatwoods, and Bonnie Dowell of Sandusky, OH; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by the Rev. Robert Davis. Burial will be in the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
