Ina loved her daughter and grandchildren, she spend as much time as possible with them. One great sorrow in her life was the death of her brother Harry Leach in world war 1. She was very active in her community, she belonged and was president of Royal Neighbors of America, she belonged and was president American Legion Auxiliary. She spend many hours working disasters , such as ,tornado near Shelburn, Indiana, Baker Coal Mine explosion ( her grandfather Oscar Richey died and her mothers sister husband Allen Zaager. She was an excellent seamstress. She made must all her clothes, even her evening gowns and her granddaughters clothes. Each memorial day she and her husband alway decorated all family graves . She loved spending time with her youngest sister Sarah (Bessie) Robbins who was 12 years her junior, she lived in Flint Michigan and would spend months at a time with her. She passed away before meeting her youngest grandchild Cathy Frakes, her youngest grandson was just 6 months old when she died. She had a best friend Mary Parks ,they were as close as any two people could be. She loved her family and spend a lot of time educating her grandchildren on family genealogy. She kept everything, all papers , pictures personal belonging. We are very fortunate that she cared so much. We now have treasures beyond works (all uncle Harry's papers pictures, gift he sent home from France before he was killed). There was time when she was young the family moved to Nebraska, she loved that experience and talked about friend she had made on the Indian Reservation. She loved Sullivan also and was proud how well the community took pride in their homes and businesses. Her father Levi Bailey Leach owned and operated the grocery store on Washington street until his death.
