Military:
Mose enlisted 9 July 1917 and reported to Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was in 341 Indiana infantry in world war 1.
During the 2nd world war he was again working for the war department in a
Army Service Forces-Corps of Engineers, Manhattan District, Stone & Webster Engineering corp. At the time the project was so classified that the workers were not told what the finished product would be. They called it Clinton Engineering Works. On Aug 7 1945 he received a letter from War Dept stating " Today the whole world knows the secret which you have helped keep for months. " He had help develop and make the Atomic Bomb. He recieved leters from Robert Patterson the under secretary of war and the Secretary of War.
He worked with the VFW for many years helping in the community as needs arose, played in the VFW band , and assisted with the military salute for the veterans at their funerals.
