JOHN FOSTER DEAD
--------------
Just at the hour of going to press we learn of the death of John Foster, aged 58 years, which occurred Wednesday night at 11 o'clock at his home in the Ard Community.

Mr. Foster, who had been a resident of this community for many years, was one of the best known and most highly respected farmers of eastern Yell county. In all that the term implies, he was a good citizen, a man who spent himself freely in the service of fellows and in the betterment of the community wherein his lot was cast. He had been in declining health for more than a year.

The funeral service and burial will be held at Ard at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. A delegation of Dardanelle friends of this upright and honorable man will be in attendance.

Mr. Foster is survived by his widow and seven grown children, four sons and three daughters. The Post-Dispatch extends to them its deepest sympathy in their great sorrow.
