STATESBORO - Mrs. Sadie Yates Williams, 67, died Tuesday at home after a long illness.
The Washington County, Fla., native lived near Statesboro the past 43 years. She was retired as a nurse from Bulloch Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, J.T. Williams of Statesboro; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Robinson of Statesboro, Mrs. Betty O'Neal of Garden City and Mrs. Cheryl Morgan of Waycross; two sons, James and Daryl Williams, both of Statesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Baxter and Mrs. Dorothy Ellis, both of Bonnifay, Fla., and Mrs. Mildred Scott of Chiplay, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Thursday at Macedonia Baptist Church, burial in church cemetery.
