Charley Daniels, 77, a retired Cookeville merchant died at this home on South Walnut Street Monday morning following a long illness.
He was the son of the late Billy and Frances Martin Daniels and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Stevens Street Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Lynn Markam of Chattanooga and the Rev. James Williams of Coalfield. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Allie Johnson Daniels; a sister, Mrs. Eva George of Cookeville; and a stepdaughter,
Mrs. Nettie Turner of Detroit, Mich.
