Lucy Grillo, (Ciarniello), 86, of Toms River, formerly of Jersey City, died March 9, 2010 at her residence. Born August 28th, 1923 to the late Nicola Ciarniello & Angelina Manzo in Jersey City, where she lived most of her life. She married the late Joseph P. Grillo on her birthday, August 28, 1948 at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City. She was a Homemaker. Lucy enjoyed spending her summers with her family at their shore home in Seaside Heights, NJ. In 1989 Lucy & Joseph relocated to Toms River, Holiday City South. While living in there, she was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish and was a member of the Holy Name Society Women's Auxiliary. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Grillo (April 19, 2009); her sisters, the late Mary D'Amato and husband Benjamin & Anna Lupo & her husband Cedric. Surviving is a son and her two grandchildren.
