She was united in marriage to Frank M. Rhodes, September 20, 1867, by Rev. J. M. Ingold. To this union were born seven children, five having preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Grace Jones of Memphis, Missouri and Mrs. Benjie Buckley of Luray, Missouri. Also six grandchildren Mrs. Helen Brumback of Ft. Madison, Iowa; Lucille Daggs, Mary Alice, Josephine, Francis, and Margaret Buckley.
She united with the Luray M. P. Church in 1887. In her death she has left an example of Christian influence to her family and community in which she lived. Funeral services were conducted, Friday, April 26th, at 3 p.m. by Rev. M. B. Kious. Interment in the West cemetery.
