As the result of an accident received in the mine Aug. 29, Wm. J. Close died at 9:00 this morning, aged 39 years, leaving a wife and six children. He was elected constable this fall. Funeral at the home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. L. D. Bass.
