Stanley Sylvester Yagodzinski, born 25 Mar 1895 in beaver Dam, Dodge Co., WI. Went 2 years to Hight School. Spoke english & polish. Religion - Catholic. Was a clerk in a hardware store - made $23 a week.

Mother's name was Cecilia Yagodzinski. Lived with his sister & brother-in-law, W.L. Klapinski. When he enlisted he was 5'10" & 132 lbs. Brown eyes, dark hair, ruddy complexion & was single. He lived at 136 E. Davis St. & 517 Madison St., both in Beaver Dam.

Enlisted in July 1917 with Wisconsin National Guard. Served in France from Sep 14, 1918 to March 14, 1919 during WWI. He returned to the U.S. Apr. 30, 1919 at Hoboken, NJ from Winchester, England via France on the SS Louisville. Discharged May 14, 1919 as a corporal.
