Agnes "Sis" Shaver Addison 89 of Bellaire died Friday June 21, 2002 at the Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire.

She was born November 24, 1912 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late John E. and Alta Rose Greenwood Shaver.

Agnes was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire and the Catholic Womens Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Addison on June 22, 1980; a grandson Michael Jack Gulley; four brothers, Dale, Fred, Paul and David Shaver and a sister, Betty L. Shaver Major.

Surviving are two daughters, Sally Ann Gentile and her husband, Ronald of St. Louis, Mo. and Sandy Gulley and her husband, Jack of Shadyside; three brothers, Homer Shaver of Baltimore, Md., Charles Shaver of Landers, Ca. and Anthony Joseph Boyle of Ambridge, Pa.; three sisters, Rosemary Shaver Long of St. Clairsville, Rita Shaver Planey of Stewartsville, and Beverly Shaver Christakis of St. Clairsville. Also six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441-37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM at St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire with Msgr. Gene W. Mullett, the Celebrant. Entombment in the Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
