OBITUARY
Funeral Services were held Friday for Eleanor Jane Floyd, 75, Valliant, who died Nov. 28 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Paris, Tex.

Born March 23, 1904 in Valliant, I.T., she had been a resident of the community all of her life. She had taught school for 47 years in Valliant Public Schools and was a member and retired choir director of the First United Methodist Church of Valliant.

She is survived by two nephews, Raphael Wilson of Oklahoma City and Wilson Herndon of Shawnee; four nieces, Linda Upshaw of Little Rock, Ark., Pat Bailey of Klamath Falls, Ore., Austine Scott of Chico, Cal., and Jane Wilson of Houston, Tex., and one foster sister, Salena Harris of Broken Bow.

Services were held Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Valliant. Arrangements and burial in the Valliant cemetery were under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
