Mary Myrtle White, 74, died Friday evening at the Williams Nursing Home at Gibson City. She had been ill for a number of months.
Mrs. White was born in Piper City April 12, 1877, a daughter of Henry H. and Anna Gibson Switzer. She spent all her childhood here and graduated from Piper City schools.
She was married April 12, 1921, to David M. White in Piper City.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Grace MeiseL Vista, Calif, and a brother, Charles Switzer, Piper City.
Her husband preceded her In death.
Mrs. White was a member of the Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
