Survivors include: his wife, Elsie Mae; a son, Jim, Harper; a daughter, Linda Mathes Hostetler, Wichita; a brother, Herbert, Harper; a sister, Doris Whinery, Kenosha, Wis.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and two brothers, Harlan and Lloyd.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Harper, with Eddie Barber presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery.
