Mrs. Emanda Tarkington, aged 81 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. P. Whitman, 1218 Laurel Street, Saturday evening at 8:50 o'clock. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and Sandy Tarkington, and four daughters, Mrs. T. B. Ballow, Mrs. Julia Johnson, Mrs. A. P. Whitman, and Mrs. T. J. Yarbrough.
