"A. L. Graham Funeral Held Last Tuesday Afternoon"

Milano, Apr. 29 - A. L. Graham died at his home near here at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 24th.
.
Mr. Graham was born in Scott Co., MS in 1840, moved to Monroe, LA, when he was 1-year of age. He moved to Peachtree community in Tyler Co. in 1849. In 1852, he moved to Big Springs, Texas and in 1862 he enlisted in the Confederate Army and served 3-years.
.
On Aug. 1, 1868, he moved to Milam Co. His home, which is 5-miles south of Milano, he has resided for 50-years. Mr. Graham was a member of the Christian church.
.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Wallace Jones, pastor of the First Christian Church of Cameron.
.
He has seven children surviving: Horace E. Graham of Cameron; Newton Graham of Ozona; O. D. Graham of Thorndale; Mrs. Louie Gleck of Chriesman; Mrs. Robt. Ragan and Mrs. Rufus Hensley of West Texas.

Interment was made in the family cemetery, known as the Hurt cemetery.
